Survey: TechSmith Community and YOU!

Hello out there!  As Austin Powers once said, “Allow myself to introduce…….myself”.  My name is Renee Badra and I am excited to be in a brand spanking-new position here at TechSmith called an ‘Online Community Specialist’!  In my previous position, I managed the TechSmith Customer Service Department for many years.  Now I am part of the Marketing Department and will be working with the social media team to engage with YOU…our customers and friends (I hope)!

What does community mean exactly?

We are leaving that up to you!  What do you want from TechSmith and how do you prefer to interact with us?  Do you enjoy our online tutorials, our feedback forums, or our tech support site?  Maybe you prefer Facebook or Twitter?  Whichever it is, we love to hear from you!

Could you do us a favor and take this quick survey to help us understand the Community you find most valuable, along with the content you would like to see us deliver?  And trust me, there is nothing I hate more than clicking on a survey only to find that it’s 10 pages long!  So I promise…. this one is short and sweet!  And speaking of sweet, we are going to randomly choose one submission to win a $50 Amazon gift card so make sure to get your name in the hat before we close the survey on August 6th, 2012!

Welcome to your new position Renee.

Want to know what my guilty pleasure is? Here’s a hint – the complete and utter destruction of the Get Satisfaction forum, that would leave me completely satisfied and better than eating ice cream. That’s me and social media….

Hi Manny! Always good to hear from you. :-)

Any suggestions on an alternative to Get Satisfaction? So far it seems be the best experience for our users to interact with our technical staff and each other but we’re always looking to improve and are open to suggestion.

        Hi Betsy!

I think my unsuccessful step back suggestion is widely known. A little jazz to the new social media guru was just too much to pass up. You know like a scoop of moose tracks ice cream.
Betsy, a very grateful thanks for your kindness towards Carol.
