Where do I find “check for updates”. I opened Camtasia 2 and can’t find that anywhere in my menu. Thanks.

To get your Camtasia for Mac 2.2.1 update, open your copy of Camtasia for Mac 2, click Camtasia 2 in your menu bar, and you should then see Check for Updates… Here’s a screenshot of what you should see: Once you’ve updated, you will see this message:

    I hope that helps!

I don’t have check for updates or activate.

MHero, I think the issue is that you purchased Camtasia for Mac through the Apple’s App Store. (For others who may be reading this, you can verify by clicking Camtasia 2 > About Camtasia) Therefore, I’m sorry to say that you’ll need to wait until the update is available in the store. We’ve already submitted it to Apple, so it’s just a matter of when they approve it. Typically I believe it’s about 10 days.

Sorry for the confusion and trouble. We’ll update the post to make it more clear.

It’s been over a month and still no update in the mac store. Any idea of when that will happen? Thanks, Melissa

  • Windows MAC Support

Small bits of content which are explained in details, helps me understand about it, Thanks.
