Hi David, we’re working hard on both products to fix the retina issues and plan to have something out soon!

      Retna fix?

    • JuggoPop

I had an issue with the last version of Jing and was given a special version by support that fixed my issue. Mac Jing on 3 monitors and some other settings that cause it to break.

Now I get the prompt that it has to be updated again in the next 14 days. I’m going to update it, but I am hoping (with fingers crossed) that I don’t have to have the support staff build me a new version if this update doesn’t work properly on my setup.

I really wish you wouldn’t force a two week update as the last time it broke, it took longer than that to get it running again.

Guess I’m posting more for the heads up that if the issue wasn’t fixed, there may be more users like me on this version that will be reporting to the support team again.

Thanks for a great product keep up the great work.

Just a follow up for any of those users like me who has been using the version provided by the support staff.

For me, it DOES work properly. So I guess my issues were covered by “Bug fixes” in this update.

        Thank you again!

Where do I get the update? I just sat down to record a series of videos and have no audio. I am on a Mac – Lion OS and my mic is on, turned up, etc. Please respond. Thank you.

Trying to update Jing for Mac (Pro User) – Jing does not automatically tell me there’s an update – and when I try to launch the update from the Help section, the update fails with an “Update Error! The Update is improperly signed” message
