A Bit of Prep Work = Better Videos

I know what you’re thinking: “BO-RING!” Sure, you want to jump right in, record, crank out something amazing, and wow your viewers into mindless submission.

But, if you’re really interested in making your screencast focused, clear, and taking the world by storm you’ll need to do at least a bit of prep work. You think all of those evil geniuses James Bond foiled nearly conquered the Earth by chance? No way.

Now, I’m not promising you’ll be able to almost become ruler of the universe, but if you follow the tips in this video, you’ll see a definite increase in quality that both you and your viewers will notice.

While the video below is from the Camtasia for Mac perspective, all of the principles directly apply to making screencasts with Camtasia Studio as well.
