Batch Edit with Snagit’s Convert Images

Convert Image optionUsing Convert Images you can change properties, size, and even the file format of a group of images all at once. For example, you could take a group of images and add a one pixel border to each, make the images 200×200 pixels and change the file format from JPG to PNG.

The effects menuIn just a couple of steps you can change all the images at the same time.

In Snagit for Windows select Convert Images under the Snagit button and select the images you would like to convert. You can add effects such as borders, edge effects or watermarks.

Select an output directory if you wish, then choose the file format such as PNG, PSD, or BMP. Stick with the original file name or give your images an automatic file name. For, example if you have images of flowers then you could use flowers in the name followed by a number for each image.

There are a lot of options in the Automatic File Name dialog so carefully read through them to see which ones apply. Then select finish and you’re done. No Save As dialog or editing each image just to apply the same border on each one. Batch editing saves you time and clicks!

Are there hidden images? ;) (Had to giggle a bit at the tile mentioning “covert” images.)

Thanks Rick. I just fixed it. I suppose if one’s going to have a typo it might as well be something a little entertaining. :)
