Using Gestures with Snagit on Mac

Speed up your workflow with three simple touch pad gestures you can use to quickly manipulate the display.

Zoom Out

Use a pinch in motion to zoom out to a birds-eye view.  Simply pinch your fingers together and the image zooms out.

Browse Images

Using the three-finger swipe you can quickly and easily browse the images in your tray.

Swipe

Note: In order for three-finger swipe to work, you must have the Swipe with three fingers or Swipe with two or three fingers option enabled in system preferences.

Settings

  • Gasport

Do these settings apply to the Magic Track Pad? I tried the last gesture but it only operated on the current tool I was using.

  • Erika Smith

These apply to the track pad or Magic Track Pad. If you are on 10.6 the settings look a little different but similar. If you are running 10.6 you will enable the three finger swipe to navigate option. If you do not have this option enabled it will operate the current tool, which is the behavior you are seeing. I hope this helps.
